CAGNAAN Cheap Books - Bargain BooksElsie and Edith Cagnaan - two sisters from Leyte began their small bookselling business in the sitting room of a rented house in Cagayan De Oro City. They planned to bring affordable books to the Filipino people. Since that small start in 1998, the business gathered momentum as more and more Filipinos from all walks of life discovered, that at Cagnaan Booksales, books really did cost less. In time, another shop was added in Cebu City, and then another, making a visit to a branch easier than before for students without transport.

Our books are all imported from Europe, South East ASIA and America and represent remarkable value for money, we do not directly compete with existing bookstores in the Philippines and do not stock locally published books or seek to supply locally published textbooks. The books we stock are all chosen on the basis of quality and value and are all non-fiction. They are the original publishers editions. >>more
